REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP:
If you desire membership and meet the requirements, you MUST be available to attend the formal induction ceremony. The night will also include some general announcements and information on how you can be an active member of Sigma Delta Pi. Of course you can also plan on refreshments and delightful conversation with all those present. This is a formal ceremony so please dress appropriately!

Step 2:
Send an unofficial transcript to Professor Hague. A printout from AIM is sufficient.
Step 3:
Pay your lifetime membership fee of $55 here.
Step 4:
Expect an email notifying you of your acceptance and inviting you to the induction ceremony.
- Have junior status (60 semester hours completed) with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Have completed at least 18 semester hours of Spanish, including one course in literature (Spanish 339, 441, 451) or culture (Span 345 or 355). Spanish Challenge Exam credits may count as part of the 18 hour requirement. If you are currently enrolled in one of the required literature or culture classes, we invite you to apply NEXT semester.
- Be committed to the encouraging, understanding and appreciating of Hispanic cultures in the English-speaking world.
- Pay the one time initiation and national membership fee of $55 (payable with the application for membership). This fee covers the cost of certificate, local dues, and also endows a national scholarship program.
